Marina Beach Bed and Breakfast

Posted by edux127 on October 13, 2006

My friends stayed there for a week in November 2005 a couple with 2 small children. In their case, they had the run of the entire apartment — bathroom, kitchen and living area might be shared by up to 2 other guests. The building is modern, the apartment much more than generous for travelers. The price was hard to beat, although the camel-trading of my friend negotiated them into honoring their published rates, which were for 2004. They had one thing happen that did cause me some concern. My friend´s bag was stolen with the key to the apartment(a common problem in Barcelona, so be sure to carry a money belt or purse around your neck). The key had the address of the Marina Beach Bed and Breakfast Barcelona  so they insisted the lock be changed. The owners took care of this inmediatly while they were out, and they got the key in less than one hour. Excellent service!

I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast in Barcelona to everybody.

Ahome away from home for less than €50 a night

Needing a cheap break on the beach, I decided to head for Barcelona. With a limited budget, I opted for avoiding hotels and crowds. Knowing my preferred location -Barceloneta, near the Port Olimpic I have reached the Marina Beach B&B Barcelona through chicstays.com Link. Although it calls itself a B&B , there is no breakfast. What you end up with is a super three bedroom apartment in the up and coming area of the city. I believe the building is no lolder that five years old. The Marina Beach Bed and Breakfast Barcelona has two amazing balconies, one facing Marina st with views of the Hotel Arts on your left and the Sagrada Familia on your right, and on the other side to the building’s swimming pool, which guests are free to use. The kitchen and magnificent living area you share with the rest of the guests, along with the bathroom, but this apartment is kept spotless by a daily maid service and linen and towels are provided. Prices vary according to the season -I have paid €40 a night in the middle of August, and its well worth it not only for the flat in itslef but the location and easy connection to all Metro and buses. The same company also manages 3 other bed and breakfast is Barcelona in different areas of the city, which I am really keen to try.
